Learn the Elemental Bending

Well not really, but you can learn some interesting facts about the Bending arts and how to do some of the cool moves. This section took me a long time to write, so please don't rip any content. Have fun bending!

Waterbending

"Water is the element of change. The people of the Water Tribe are capable of adapting to many things. They have a deep sense of community and love that holds them together through anything." Waterbending is based on Tai Chi, a popular Asian form of martial art. Tai Chi draws its strength from the energy within oneselfTai Chi movements are smooth, calm, and graceful, which is where waterbending is coming from. Waterbending is a style that is used more defensively, but can certainly be used very effectively as an offense, unlike Airbending. Like Tai Chi, waterbending demonstrates the meaning of using your opponent's strength against them. This is like the element of water itself. Free, but can adapt, as Iroh said, to many things, as Ice, and Gas to fit the situation. Take a look at some of these screenshots of waterbending:

The style is very graceful, using full arms and hands. Waterbending is about body structure, breathe, and carefulness, not about strength. Let's learn the basics of waterbending

This image shows the basic structure of a common water bending move. Most of the bending arts have a stance to follow when performing bending to enhance focus and power, and this applies to waterbending too. The arm stance in the first panel allows them to move easier, ready to bend at the moment. After, a waterbender would summon the water out of its source by using a gentle rising movment with hands. Then, a waterbender would move the water around, feeling "the push and pull of the water", then lash out the water gracefully at the right moment, with a stretched arm, release position.

Earthbending

"Earth is the element of substance. The people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse and strong. They are persistent and enduring." Earthbending uses a style of Chinese Kung Fu called Hung Gar, also called "Tiger and Crane" style. This is because many moves from Hung Gar are based off those of animals such as the tiger, Hard Power, and the Crane, soft power. Earthbenders rely on strong stances and their root to the planet. They generate energy from powerful stepping, stance transitions, and kicking.

The image above shows the strong style of Earthbending. Powerful steps, "Crane Power", and strong stances are shwon in these few images of Earthbending.

Follow the image shown above. The Earthbenders start with a strong lower position or stance. The strong stance generates firm power for the earthbenders. After, the earthbenders need to use "Crane Power", the softer side of earthbending, which will gather energy from the stance, and then transfer it to a solid "Tiger" attack.

Firebending

"Fire is the element of power. The people of the Fire Nation have desire and will, and the energy and drive to achieve what they want." Firebenders practice a style of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. Firebending is fierce and powerful. Many wrongfully assume that firebending is about power and destruction, according to Jeong Jeong. Powerful Firebending is fueled by emotion and rage in many firebenders, but it also comes from the breathe and stance, like most bending.

Fire is dangerous, and firebending without patience leads to your own demise.

In the image shown above, it shows some steps in firebending. First, breathe to inhale energy from sources of fire like the Sun, then take a fighting stance, and unleash an attack with a fierce movement.
