Katara's Necklace was given to her by her Mother before she was killed. Katara's Mother had gotten it from Katara's Grandmother, Gran Gran. It features a carving of the Waterbending symbol. The necklace was first made by Master pakku of the Northern water Tribe, as an engagement gift to Katara's Gran Gran, but they didn't marry, as it was an arranged marriage, and Gran Gran didn't really love Pakku, so she ran away to the Southern Water Tribe.
Sokka's "Meteor Sword", is very unique because of its material. It is a beautiful black color because it was crafted using a meteorite that Sokka found after a previous Meteor Shower, possibly a taste of Sozin's Coment, so maybe Sokka's sword will link to Sozin's Comet, but no one knows for sure at the moment. Sokka made this sword with the help of his Fire Nation Sword Master, PianDao, who trained him in the way of the sword in "Sokka's Master".
Aang's Headband was part of his fire nation disguise to fit in. The headband is to cover his noticeable Arrow, and his excuse to wear it is that he has a terrible forehead scar, and needed the headband to cover it. The headband itself was stolen in "The headband" along with a lot of other fire nation clothes in a random yard. It is dark red and has the School symbol printed on the center.
The GAang's Fire Capes were used to hide their identities from the Fire Nation before they got real clothing in "The Headband". They got these capes when ambushing a Fire Nation ship.
Aang's Glider Staff was a fine tool that he used to enhance his airbending abilities as well as use it to fly. In normal form, it is but a normal staff, but when activated, it springs out orange wings, to allow airbenders to control the currents around them and fly. Too bad Aang had to destroy it in the end of "The Awakening" to protect his secret.
PianDao's Sword is one of several similar legendary sword models created by the Sword Master PianDao. Not much other information is available except that they are famous in weapon shops and have beautiful quality.
Sokka's Painting was painted under instruction of his Sword master PianDao's training. He said that "a warrior only has a moment to take in his surroudings", taking Sokka to a beautiful area, let him look for about 2 seconds, then telling him to paint it, without looking again. Sokka creatively added his own Rainbow and happy sun. It is rumored PianDao still keeps this painting.
This Sea Star Ambush Mask is used by Water Tribe warriors like bato and Sokka's Father, where they ambushed a fire Nation ship to take it over. These masks are apparently made of Sea Stars and keep gases away from the person
In the town where "Avatar Day" occurs, they have a Wheelto decide a punishment for people. Some known ones are "dipped in hot oil", "Eaten by sharks", and "Community Service".
These Water pots were seen in the Northern Water Tribe, being used by Master Pakku and his students to store water during performances.
Avatar Kyoshi used these fans as weapons to enhance her bending powers. The Warriors of Kyoshi Island have a similar style of weaponry, using the opponents strength against them.
Aang tried on this extremely heavy Fire Nation Armor while Sokka was shopping for new weapons. It looks to be modeled after a demon and many animal features. It looks really durable, but probably makes you slower than a slug.
Sokka used traditional Sai as a toothpick while shopping for weapons in the fire nation. Sai are usually double weilded and can strike quickly, they were used by Ninjas.
The Blue Spirit's Broad Swords are swift and deadly weapons. When not the Blue Spirit, these Swords are hung in Zuko's room, as decoration.
The Fire Nation Chain is used by many different soldiers and mercenaries. This chain can wrap people up, so they can't move, or hammers can be attached to throw at people. Apparently, Sokka doesn't know how to use it.
This Fire Fly Lantern was created by the mechanist living in the northern Air temple. It is a non flammable light source for going into the depths of the area, so the gas doesn't ignite it and explode.
The Mechanist's greatest invention, the Air glider is artificial airbending, allowing people like his son, Teo, who has a broken leg, to fly high in the air, drop bombs, and even create cloud messages!
